About Us
Oxbridge Thinking was founded by Gwyn Day — a Mensa member, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, former Head Trader, specialist in neurolinguistics, and mentor to high-potential students for more than 20 years.
After three decades working at the intersection of finance, education, and human performance, Gwyn realised one simple truth:
"The world doesn’t just reward intelligence. It rewards the ability to think clearly, communicate powerfully, and perform under pressure."
For years, he coached students into the world’s most competitive universities — Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, the Ivy League, M7, and top Canadian & European schools — and later helped graduates secure roles at elite global institutions: investment banks, consulting firms, law firms, and multinational corporations.
But he noticed a gap:
Most students learn content. Very few learn how to think.
Oxbridge Thinking was created to change that.
It brings together the intellectual traditions of Oxford and Cambridge, the precision of financial markets, and the science of neurolinguistics to help students develop elite cognitive habits, elite communication, and elite performance.
Today, Oxbridge Thinking offers a structured ecosystem of learning — from foundational thinking skills to university admissions guidance to the rigorous language of global finance — all built for students and organisations who refuse to settle for average.
